The weather is getting that chill in the air. The days are getting shorter. What we need in our homes right now is more warmth and more light. Candles are one of the best ways to give us what we need.

I love the fact that candles can really alter the way that a room feels and yet they are affordable and simple. If you don't like the effect they create, you can move them or buy new ones. I like the fact that these are all the same color but I wonder how neat it would look if they were all different?! A candle display doesn't have to be elaborate at all. Here we have three simple candles that are identical in shape and style but different in height. This is just one more interesting piece added to a room filled with lots of little things to look at. It's not the most warming effect of all but it does add to the total warm appeal of the room.
